What they call their father in the colonial era?
I'm writing a historical novel about slavery in the southern colonies. What they call their parents at that time? (AE father and mother, father and mother …) Thanks! So what pajamas when they call?
Father and Mother … based on a text of "Little Women" the novel, which takes place during the civil war. Pajamas were introduced about 1880 from India for men to wear for sleeping instead of night.
